Boston United vs. Hyde United, April 26th 2008

Following the dramatic news of Boston United's late salvation from a winding up order before kick-off, it was party time at home to Hyde.

A fantastic crowd produced an excellent atmosphere that is partly captured in this very video, shot from the stands.

The Pilgrims overturned a 1-0 deposit on the pitch to win 2-1 on the last day of the 07-08 campaign.

The spectators proceeded to invade the pitch at the final whistle to watch the player of the year awards, in which David Newton and Neil Kempster received special recognition for saving the club not once, but twice.

The glorious scenes were a far cry from the nightmare of the club's final league game of last season, and here are the highlights of the afternoon for you to remember it all by.
