  • beautiful,but please read:*

Many shipping pallets can have TOXIC/DANGEROUS materials in them from whatever was moved on them ( acids, etchants, etc) that may've spilled..

even if the place you got it from didn't ship toxic things, the pallet may* have other history. be sure you KNOW it..! i used to re-purpose them too like this...

  • Why is it that architects are synonymous with jewelry making?

This girl is a wonderuful inspiration for me. I am an aspiring architect and full of etsy-prime projects too.

  • great video!!

  • I wish I knew how to do all of that and had the equipment to do that ,,great video

  • what kind of sander are you using in this clip?

  • @RevMcworld the great master craftsmen of history used the most advanced tools of their day, they would use power equipment as well if it were available in their time.

the tool only facilitates the work, the art is in the hands of the maker.

  • For me hand made especially in our historical context is a response against mass-production and materialism. So using materials and craft bought at let's say Joanne's or using tools from The Home Depot kind of defeats the idea that the "means must justify the end." However you're right, its a necessary compromise since the companies have already won and we have no choice but to use their own tools to overcome them. Bite the hand that feeds you. I love it ;]

  • Most of my work is done from cast offs - I picked up a large leg of a damaged dining table made of walnut today, setting by someone's trash. It's going to get new life as new turnings. Pallet wood has to be scrutinized for nails and staples.

  • Respecting the integrity of the wood, the beginning of the wood and the craftsmanship in the finished product makes for a true eco artisan.

    Just lovely.

  • 1 Timothy 2:3-4 this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
