Miss Major spoke at the Transfaith Summit in Los Angeles. I was so moved by her that i forgot to press record on my camera. She spoke of being at Stonewall and how the trans girl start its..and how so different the social climate is today...how you can walk the streets and travel with no problem being trans...when back his her youth you could be locked up and criminalized for doin the same thing...Im glad that this year i made sure i pressed record. The Speaker is named Miss Major and she is the Executive Director of TGIJP or transgender instersexed justice project: which is an organization that fights for the rights in incarcerated trans folks and Miss Major through the first bottle at the popo in 1969 during the Stonewall Uprising! it's ok you can google stonewall!

This has alwasy been a peave of mine. The fact that trans people are not portrayed by trans people. At least Candis Cayne got the part for Dirty Sexy Money. That was a step in the right direction.
