  • Lovely shot, and the asteroids are amazing... are they all done with materials, or are the asteroids actually that detailed... I can never get asteroids to look realistic... and I can't seem to find a single tutorial...

  • @CJCA915 Thank you - the asteroids are mostly modelled, with a nice bump and color map, but no displacement map.

  • WOW !

it looks good enough for the big screen

  • Gorgeous! Simply gorgeous! :)

  • Excellent! Just goes to show that no matter how old or familiar a design is, it can still impress when it's given some care and attention.

  • That is spectacular!

  • The bridge interior adds a lot to the feeling of scale!

Amazing clip! Makes me want to see more of this ship.

The only real difference I can tell between this model and the studio one (appart from the HD sharpness) is the lack of a bokeh-ish effect on the lights.

I doubt you want to simulate a bad lens effect though...

  • That is one sexy flyby!

  • @tlwtobiasrichter You're welcome.

    Thanks.

  • Wow I thought it was a movie...nice work!
