The 39th annual Veterans Day Parade in Universal City begins at 10:30 a.m. at Pat Booker Road and Universal City Boulevard. Grand Marshal will be retired Lt. Col. Jim Empey, a World War II veteran. Reviewing and judging stands will be at the Randolph Plaza Shopping Center, 902 Pat Booker Road. The parade is sponsored by the Greater Randolph Area Veterans Council.
American Legion Post 667 in Universal City will host public Veterans Day activities at the Post after the Veterans Day Parade. The parade ends at the Post, 504 Bowie Drive, where activities will run from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. and feature food/drink booths, arts and crafts fair, raffle, bake sale, and a parking lot dance from 1-5 p.m. with music by Burgundy.
