Daniel Hannan, Conservative MEP for the South East of England, giving a speech to the European Parliament in Strasbourg on 22nd October, in which he criticises the EU for promoting democracy neither at home nor abroad.

  • @chris8hr The EU i think is a dictatorship which the only happy outcome would be its break up.

  • Actually the manner in which the EU spreads democracy is 'from below', meaning that they influence a population in order to encourage and give direction to those groups who may already have revolutionary posture.
