The Rotary Club of Colorado Springs, Imagination Celebration and KKTV 11 news present the second annual Butterflies and Friends butterfly display throughout Colorado Springs this summer culminating in a fundraising auction on September 19th. Talented artisanswere selected by jurors to design 30 garden sculpture butterflies to bring beauty and light to our city throughout the summer. They will be on display in a variety of locations in Colorado Springs for all to enjoy from July through September.

On September 19th these butterflies will be auctioned at a Rotary sponsored fund-raising event at the Briarhurst Manor. The money raised will benefit children at two schools impacted by school closings (Hunt Elem. and West Middle School), and the Rotary Community Service Fund.

Research shows that children with arts education often make better grades and have healthier relationships. Securing the very fundamentals of art for our children can lead to happier, more fulfilled children who grow into successful and healthy adults. Hunt Elementary and West K-8 are representative of our children and our future. We believe it is incumbent upon us to do what we can to help our kids and we invite you to participate!
