12 reps. Great for developing power for the cross.

  • Do you ever do this with a bar? No one handed of course but like a military press?

  • I do a standing military push press with a barbell. I've done 255 for 3 reps. Great exercises, because it develops explosive knockout power for your straight punches.

  • Throwing jabs and crosses is a whole body exercise. ;) This dumbbell exercise duplicates the punch and is effective for developing knockout power. The heavier the weight, the heavier the punches...

  • Great job, you did a lot more reps than I could with a 100 lb dumbbell. I'd be lucky to get three push press reps, usualy I can only get two reps or one and a half (one rep plus a half rep). It's pretty rare to see people train this exercise anymore. Everyone in the gym I work out at looked at me like I did a world class feat when I lifted a 100 lb dumbbel overhead with one hand. Amazingly, I have an unimpressive bench press maximum of about 230 lbs.

  • These are standing dumbellpush presses-more of a whole body exercise than a pure deltoid one. Excellent power displayed: he can probably punch through a wall.

  • This is the most impressive vid of yours in my opinion. If I heard right you weigh 155 right? That's real strength.
