i have the same problem on my vgn fz21j .... bastards , i hate sony and nvidia !

tell me please if they fix yours for free ?

@psyhokinetik yes...in fact they did...and they took only 2 unbelievable days between taking it (to their thech support in France) and bringing it back, as new! They actually managed to outperform in this matter! I was even given a nice vaio screen cleaning cloth and an apology letter - although a template, of course, it was a good point after all.

They are not bad...they just still think and act like they're better than others...wrong angle indeed!

I will also have 3 video pieces for cleaning, but after the problem has returned for repair 3 times. is now quite dead. I trusted the Sony but they were a big disappointment, too many people have been robbed.

@nekiluca Well...nVidia has pleaded guilty on this one case... although I share some criticism about Sony lately, they had nothing else to do... and my laptop is still great so far. (and here, between you and me, windows 7 does wonders with its performance... I 'd advise anyone to make a clean install - there are some good tutorials out there.)

you have a problem that a small majorty of the FZ series shown, it was stated on sonys website that the Nvidia GPU breaks in some of them, and sony are offering a 3 year guarentee for any GPU breakdowns in the series stated. esupport.sony.com/LA/perl/news­-item.pl?mdl=VGNFZ350FE&news_i­d=349
