They Might Be Giants Cover- They'll Need A Crane (Multi Track)

A version of this song was my first multi-track cover, albeit without a video, to be posted to youtube. I can do better now, and have some cooler instruments (new electric guitar, electronic drums) so I'm gonna give it another go. It's also my favorite they might be giants song. The melody is so parallel and intelligent, the chords are so bittersweet, the rhythm is so lively, and that organ just kills me when I hear it (in the original anyway.) And how about those lyrics? How can you possibly take a construction metaphor for a relationship and make it so beautiful! How can you throw "I don't love you anymore" in so casually and at the same time make it all the more heartbreaking! This song is TMBG at their best. Here's my effort at it.
