Tennessee may well be known for its music and rich history, but a lot of what draws visitors from around the world is the natural beauty of our state. From backpacking and climbing to quiet, river floats and white water paddling, Tennessee delivers a broad range of sport for lovers of the out-of-doors.
The Cumberland Mountains are home to many spectacular waterways and trails, and Heather Sallee, owner of the Outdoor Experience in Cookeville, reminds us that hiking season is back with a day hike to White County's Virgin Falls.
