Keep Scotland out of it, as the Birmingham Six and the Guildford Four could not have been convicted on just the confessions beaten out of them...by the English proper Police FORCE!
Regan and Carter were "straight" though, which is more than can be said for most of the rest of The Flying Squad at the time.
But the English, or rather Thames Television, made the best cop show EVER !

@dm18876 I appreciate your comment, but at what point did I actually say I had rose tinted views of 1970's policing? I don't think I did? It's a comment on a Sweeney video compared with how things have changed today. You clearly have strong views on this, which is good as that's your view.
