@extrememan123 Chances are, that guy was pretty nervous and shook-up. As long as he didn't call the Drill Instructor an asshole, he was alright. Seriously though, most of what will come out of your mouth on the Island or at San Diego will be "Yes, Sir," "No, Sir," and "Aye Aye, Sir!" Good luck to you whenever you go. @69PlayTheSound69- Each branch has an individual purpose you are trained for. If we all combined it would be what us Marines would call it one big clusterfuck. I love serving next to another servicemen or women, but I'll take my chances in a fighting hole with Marines over an Airmen anyday. Just like they wouldn't want me flying their jet. Interservice rivalry is a driving force behind making yourself better. It motivates you to perform at the highest standard to reflect your service image.
