I dont go to church but i still believe in God, he has helped me through all of my troubles. I love him so much! I can sign this song to the dear and hard of hearing and they all love this song

@ncarter350 Wasn't upset. I was just sharing enough to show you that you can't always "be the change you want to see..." That was the cliche I was talking about.

@julieification I didn't say this to upset you and I'm sorry if I did. I was just speaking from experience and thought I would share because your situation spoke to my heart. After not being in church for 6 months and then going back it was one of the best decisions I made but I understand if that was just my experience and not yours. @ncarter350 Do you know that I am not the type to just sit and say nothing. Duh, right? That's why I am on you tube. As for being the change, I once suggested to the large S.S. class I was in (the church I have started going to again) that this church needed to have an outdoor revival with donuts and coffee. Get out there where the people are. After all, the church owns a log of grass. I was stared at silently. Cliches are just cliches. They aren't necessarily relevant. Thanks tho.

@ncarter350 My family and I go to 2 different churches. Pastors are NOT God. They often don't know the Bible. No, the enemy is not the problem here. It is the ignorance of seminary trained "pastors" and the boring and redundant "praise" songs. The coming together does not have to be church. Where 2 or more are gathered....

@julieification One more thing... Hebrews 10:25 talks about not forsaking coming together as a body of believers, especially as you see Christ's coming drawing near. I hope that you would really pray about you decision b/c it just might be the enemy discouraging you from something you need. (my two cents) Take care. God bless you.

@julieification Not to get into your business or anything, but I once went to a Christian fellowship where every single person at the fellowship (including me) left their church and didn't see the point in going to church at a period in their life. The host of the meeting sympathized with our frustrations and encouraged us to be the change we want to see in church. Have you ever thought that maybe church needs you to be the change you want to see?
