ah, i miss sould reaver. i have played it and finished it many times. the story is so compelling, i loved everything about it. though i have to say when playing this part of the game, there was a point where raziel breaks a gaint hole in the snow, which leads directcly. well not directly. but, it would be easy for the sarifan to get in and kill janos. which i found a bit confusing. as techincly didn't raziel create an easy entrance for them?.

so in other words, raziel helped himself kill janos.
