You and your horse look like a great match. I know some horses are just cranky about the leg and transitions.... i over came it by just doing them to death. Lots of transitions and if i put my leg on i just kept it there till i got the fantist positive reponse. Too i make sure her bit and saddle fit good. Good luck to you and hope it all gose well!

You're horse is beautiful. And don't listen to anyone who says you're to fat or too big. I'm look a lot like you and my instructor says I'm fine to ride. Are both of you ok?

@TheHorseygurl101 The horse's ears are not the only part of his body that is showing distress -

@MagnoliaDreaming If u got off to check if something was wrong EVERY time your horse put his ears back in transitions you would spend more time on the ground then in the saddle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The horse obviously just slipped in the sand... you look like a great rider by the way and beautiful horse!! Ignor all the hate!!! :) :)

I think it's clear by the horse's body language that something was bothering him, and with that in mind I definitely wouldn't have asked him for a canter until I had assessed the situation a bit more by either getting off and checking his tack or having someone on the ground check it for me while I was on. It's never a good idea to just push a horse through things without making sure that they aren't in pain first!
