The bank loses your money. You go to the bank and there is nothing there.

now that bush is out of the white house i don't feel like that comparison is that accurate anymore... it seemed like the path america was on was irreversible, but i'm not so sure about that anymore with obama in the white house.
however, i *would* compare american people with american people circa 1929. with some differences...

Yes thats the problem. It is easy to see the problems of the current situation (and it was easy even years ago).
But how to solve them is a total different point. And there i really don't want to see people like Celente. They are ultra conservative and all of them can't really think about a "New Deal".
By the way there sezession idea and even the hyperinflation will not come.

You got me wrong. I don't compare Obama with Hitler, but i compare the american people with the german people in 1932/1933.
Everything else we will see. On guantanamo, well the patriot act give much of the possibilities the us could there, but now they can do it in mainland america - even to american citizens, without trail and hold you in prison as long as you want.
If he is going to change this. Then i'm impressed. Until then all he gives are billions of taxpayers money and false promises.

yes, it's better to criticize a snake oil salesman than to join their religion.
i'm not saying they wouldn't be right about certain things, but especially alex often jumps right into conjecture. when i heard gerald celente complaining about how people dress these days (referring to hiphop) and return to the good old days of formal clothing i realized he's a ranting old fool.

that's bs and it's disgusting that people are upvoting your reply. obama already closed quantanamo and stopped secret renditions. he has already brought about change. of course he's still a one man and even as a president can't change everything, you have to be reasonable, he's not all powerful. but comparing him to hitler is idiotic.
-
so i guess its better to sit on your ass and criticize people
-
what would a bank holiday be?
The swindle is not the elections itself but the false promises and the "change". It is so obvious that he never really wanted a change.
It's so disgusting. And the Obamanitis is a dIsease all over the wold.
Please never asks a german again how they could fall for Hitler, we see that the magic idea of a Führer that helps out of the mess is still working and the majority people do still follow.

The thing about Alex is he takes a thought all the way to worst case scenario. Either you can handle it or you can't. At times I can't listen to him, other times I enjoy it. I'm very glad he's around. Remember nobody is perfect. And as far as just after money making? That's a ridiculous statement.
