... not that challenging. (23year old male). llanberis is a bit of a dive, thought there would be some nice pubs there but not even that. the walk was amazing and the weather that week was so good. really cant wait to go back but as you can see i didnt really plan my trip very well so sorry cant give much advise on this. The pen-y-pass carpark is full by about 7am on weekends/nice days so park further down the mountain and get the bus its a nice journey on the open top bus. good luck.

@powertec.hey i live in birmingham, So relativly close and was unemployed at the time. Organised this trip on the thurday and left on the firday. drove to aberystwyth cus i fancied it... not that special. and then drove to llamberis that same afternoon, staying in Mount Pleasant' Hotel. Wouldnt recommend it! hicked/ran up as fast as possible starting at pen-y-pass and took some photos and ran down again. did it in trainers shorts and a t shirt. its paths all the way and a little scrambling ....
