  • Yeah they do have those type of races, its called Indy Car Racing.

  • dude, why is everyone talking about the validity of Christianity? can't we just enjoy the comedy?

  • most respectfully, i do believe he was making fun of the rednecks that can't pronounce those names- not the names themselves- and also, if you watch the video again- the womman he made reference to was not a particular person, and was not 45 years old, but doing only 45 MPH on the road...

  • Is it Christian to make fun of people from other countries with names that sound weird to English-only speakers? And if it's not Christian to include drugs in comedy, why is it Christian to include alcohol in comedy? What about when he made fun of that old woman driving the car (actually she wasn't even that old--45)... is mysoginy Christian? (oh wait, it is...)

  • Jesus, while being portrayed as a pious prophet, was, in fact, only a man. It is echoed a number of times in scripture that he did have a sense of humor, like any man. Still, pulling scripure out of it's historical origins can make it not-so-funny.

  • I'm not a a Christian, but I've got to agree that with a spirit like Jesus had, he musta been cracking jokes all the time.

I mean, if he is God's son, what doesnt he have to laugh about. He's knows that everything would be right in the end, anyway.

  • Oh so he's Jeff Foxworthy without a moustache?

  • i love that japanese car interpretation. lol!

  • the movie "the name of the rose" has an interesting discussion on comedy/christianity.
