what do you do if after scanning, deleting prefs, "alt-scanning", reinstalling both plugin and ableton, trying different versions of ableton, rebooting, deleting registry values and reinstalling, plus a little more, all several times, a plugin which used to work fine (i.e. is 32bit) won't show up in browser? can you manually add plugins? starting to hate abletons severe lack of config options, pretty unable-ton when u run into a problem. i guess they have to cater for mac users tho :P

Can somebody help me out im completely new to this program and i have a vst plugin called magix vandal which is a amp modeling software. when i change the effect on this software it changes the sound of all of the recorded tracks not just the desired track

so when you insert a VST / Plugin instrument, will it record in midi if you drag it to a midi track? (im new to this vst stuff)

@wateverwill C/....program files...vst plug inns....here you go...if you have a plug inn with more files ...create a map for it ......if you collect more it we be a mess after a while....just some info , dont know who you are or your age so just some info added

when i do what the instructor did at 1:20 the putting instrument into the midi track it stops my computer for 10 minues! .... and i run only youtube and ableton, whats wrong with that? i cant learn anything in that.

I have a problem thats driving me shit balls! When using a vst such as massive, if I close the vst screen I can't re open it!!! anyone know how to re open closed vst screens?!?! THANKS!

Don't all producer softwares use the C:\Program Files\VST plugins -folder?
