And the community gives me plenty of reward, the good people anyway, not the scum who prey on them. I just take my reward from them, without asking. Someday, you may call 911. @adirondaker Your only a guard cuz you dont do fuck all, you make the inmates out to be big and scary and your risking your life when really you go to work and fuck with them all day, you love the drama at work whenever they start shit and you get to beat the fuck out of them or throw them in a hole, and you would probably cover up a murder to protect a fellow guard any day, you are scum, you get your reward through your own sick pleasure, so the community gives you NONE

@rubherchicken I hear ya... the only thing that keeps me from being a complete anarchist is these violent people.... I like George Carlins idea, lets just fence off an area in the desert and put violent people there! LOL! End the drug war and release all non-violent prisoners.... it's happening, we are evolving. Thank You and respect to all the good Constitutional peace officers out there risking there lives for us.

violence, prison are all bad freedom peace good, but when you have people like the inmate who tried to kill an officer or a parolee who goes out and rapes and kills young children or anyone for that matter, what do you do? peace and freedom are wishfull thinking, give the inmates freedom and see what they do with it. Your view is not realistic sounding at all. again come walk the line and se what really going on...

@Mexibunch it's not really that I 'hate' them I just feel sad for them that they would promote and be involved with violence and tyranny.....they seem ignorant. I stand for peace and understanding/non-violence. My view is neither negative or positive just more realistic... violence+ prison=bad - peace+ freedom = good

Maybe it's the local new, being more prisons in the area, but it's nice to be called "Correctional Officer", by the media, instead of "Guard" for a change. The public has no problem accepting that a Police Dog is a sworn Peace Officer, but for some reason, we can only be thought of as "Guards" by many.

Unless you personally know all the guards in this prison, you should never say they deserve it. My father was a correctional officer who died on the job. He was simply trying to make a living to support his family and he did a great job at it. He did not deserve what he got.
