I have this too. Sometimes the real world gets mixed up with my dream world so I start seeing freaky animals and people crawling and walking throughout my whole room. It does freak me out and I start to fight it very hard lol or I start praying to God. At a certain point I wake up dizzy

I get this sometimes when I'm waking up. Do you ever have really vivid hallucinations when it happens? Sometimes I see normally except that there are random people or things in my room and sometimes it's like a normal dream except I can't move. The part that sucks for me is that I'm usually too out of it to realize it's just sleep paralysis and end up freaking out.

This happens to me whenever I nap. I feel as if I'm suffocating. I'm getting to the point where I'm ok with it and roll with it instead of struggling. Although when I go with it I experience a deafening ringing and vibration in my ears which is no fun. The feeling of being smothered never eases up and if I manage to come out of an episode I can drift back into it within seconds.

It's really quite well-known and documented that a person is/feels paralyzed when they are astral projecting. Seeing strange things, walking about, 'being' in a strange environment... hmmmm Astral projection? Surely could be. MAY want to visit a SKILLED, REPUTABLE and well-trained hypnotherapist. Not some charlatan, but a trained therapist. Steve G. Jones is an expert in this regard. He's got Internet presence.. just a suggestion. MAY help answer questions.

you think thats boring? try having an episode then talk....

@MandyLovesGibson I know what you mean. I've had it happen to me both ways. Sometimes I can breathe and other times not. When the latter happens, it usually jolts me out of the paralysis after a few seconds and I find myself gasping in the air I needed. It's like the reaction of having been awakened by a bad dream (except it's not a dream because I was conscious of the episode). It's not a pleasant experience.
Wow, nice of her to help you. I usually pray that my husband will wake up and notice- it never happens.

What did you think you would see? Did you think you would see the daemons that *I* see when I get paralysis?

@shibby22 Do you see all black shadow people? Doe's it seem like some one else is in control of your body? Not just in these episodes but all the time? Do you find that it happens more often when you fall asleep in places other than your bed? Thanks hope to hear from you.

@1manvsworld
Nope. No black shadow people. Not at any given time. It almost always happens while falling asleep... but always in my bed.
