EnochSpeaks Publisher of the Black Male Survival Guide and Handbook has been an advocate of young Black males for over 10 years. The system is not designed to assist and enable black male youth to successfully acheive a postive outcome in life.
The jail, prision and death rate of young Black males between the ages of 15 to 25 is a fact no-one can simply ignore any longer. The leading cause of death for a young Black males between the ages of 15- 25 is a violent death!
The African-american community must take action now to resolve this situation. Evil wins when good people are silent. Tune in to EnochSpeaks

  • How can a teacher teach when she has to deal with the one or two students who are emotionally or mentally disabled? How can she, even one with a helper be expected to teach learning disabled kids side by side with kids of normal intelligence and abilities? They can't. So the classroom just becomes a holding cell. Meanwhile, parents who can find ways to get their kids out. I did. I home schooled after sixth grade because it simply wasn't worth the risk of sending my daughter to public school.

  • Enoch, it's hitting black schools and students harder but regardless of color there has been a change in the schools which cannot be blamed on teachers, even the mediocre teacher. Mainstreaming. Parents and lawyers went to court to fight for mainstreaming in the misguided belief that putting all the kids in the same classroom helps any of them. It doesn't. Some of these kids can't learn, and putting them in normal classes just pulls everyone else down.

  • Great post please discuss more on this topic
