@usernamepasswordG He gives credit to every artist he samples, so he doesn't claim those samples as his own, but the actual full pieces of music he makes are original to him, there for, his songs.

@punkrocky9 And again, those collages won't exist without those artists so what's your point? If those artists do it purely for art it is one thing but if there is profit involved then I can not abide. They are profiting off the artists which is in fact illegal for x amount of years (60-80 years aka lifetime of an artist).

@typ0graphy Yeah but he would be nothing without those artists. That's like taking 10-15 famous paintings and putting them together and calling yourself a fucking artist.

He just makes good mashups that are fun to listen to and dance to, no one is claiming hes reinventing the wheel. but his mashups are more successful than most other people so at the very least that proves he has an ear for music. is there really anything wrong with putting your own spin on someone else's music? Its been done forever. Mashups are still an art form, think of it as musical collage! You take something thats already there and make it something new.

@Gefilta He's never been sued and now many of the record labels are in fact sending him accapellas/instrumentals so he can use them to create his mixes and promote their bands.
