This video features a close-up look at a Boeing 747-400 painted in Delta Air Lines colors. Watch until the end to hear the 747 roar into the air!

This flight in April 2009 marked the first Delta 747 service from Atlanta since the 1970s.

  • @bobbyknight1970 Thanks, Bobby!

  • @Jump5tylerZ The music actually sounds pretty cool to me. The electric giutar and beat is groovy. Also the video editing looks very professional.

  • @boyetaquino No, but for jetliners (narrow and wide bodies) there is a standard power take off using about 3/4 throttle for most take offs, and then there is such a thing as a full throttle take off for short field runways. Less than a quarter of total thrust/throttle is used when landing. Propulsion is the pulling power of an engine, and thrust is the pushing power of an engine.

  • wow, given the title, this is kinda lame...

  • Are other airliners not a full-throttle when taking off?

  • stupid video why put a gay music on it when everyone wants to see the full take off and throttle.

  • I've been In like 12 of those from delta

  • Man that thing is huge ...

  • At first I thought that the song was the Thriller song.

  • Very cool =)
