Compare this to Dave Grohl when he sings Pretender. I honestly don't understand that guy- why create a song that you refuse to sing live?? Sure, you don't want to ruin your voice for the other songs, but how about he plays it last? Did Layne here pussy out? FUCK NO!!

he's a great vocalist, the song reflects a male's personal battle from within and he can't get out of it because he doesn't know how to or how he personally feels because he walks on a thin line between two thin tightropes.

@MrGeorgios2020 If you did your research you would know that Alice in chains was originally a glam rock band (also known as hair metal) So you think Layne can't sing, Jerry can't play the guitar with skill? Think Eddie Vedder can't play either?(Have you heard about his solo's?) "Grunge" was a dumb umbrella term, created for morons to use all the time, you can't describe all the bands in Seattle back in the 90's like that, they all had their different musical styles A.I.C=Metal, Nirvana=Punk

In my opinion this is rated in the top five live performances of a lead rock-vocalist of all times. This is Layne Staley in full bloom, screamin' his guts out on stage like never before or after. It׳s simply stupefying. I can watch this over and over again and it would amaze me every time as if it was the first. Alice are at the height of their energy here playing at home for their fans. Darkly epic, rare jam, what else can one say?
