@trueritehere look fella...it seems strange to me that whenever someone calls out a black person on something like this (presenting a gangbanger dermenor) that person is accused of being racist...how can there not be racism? Whenever facts are pointed out, the attention bringer is accused of RACISM...I believe both were CLEARLY wrong here. As a matter of fact it seemed like the boy was waiting for an excuse to get paid..."we gettin paid!! we gettin paid!!"

It's a free country, having an attitude is not illegal, and his PIG is in the wrong, no matter how you cut it.

I had no idea that the USA had a "walking around" dress code.
Isn't this the same country that gave the world "Superman" ? Who; if I'm correct, wore his underpants on the outside of his tights :)

@trueritehere it might not be fair but that is the way everyone sees it. any one dressed like this and acts like this white, black.or purple is seen as a gang banger.just like anyone with a southern drawl and a rebel flag is seen as kkk. if you dont want seen that way you have to make changes to fit society or like me dont change a thing and deal with the discrimination by others.

@vada2000 I guess that was fair... What I dont find fair is that you classified him as a gangbanger, but in the video the kid clearly says "IM NOT A FELON" and "I DONT HAVE A RECORD"... Now I live here in Newark NJ and the way he looks to me is like the average honor roll student at the local public school. This is how our youth choses to dress and express themselves, though some my find it "low class" I dont think they should be criminalized for it. If I saw a white kid dressed in goth I would
its apparent that there is an EXTREME fear and disgust for inner city black youth who are OUTSPOKEN and show FEARLESSNESS to WHITE authority. Its apparent that this city law targets young black males who brought this style of dress to HIP HOP culture which radiates through the world. Yes there are white, hispanic and asian youth who mimic their saggy, baggy pants style but we will be the only ones they will use this style of dress to criminalize us.. Typical hatred for the black youth.

both were wrong here. the cop for pushing him and the gang banger for the attitude. now before i get cussed for calling him a gang banger remember if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck chances are it aint a cat

@vada2000 not assume that he is in a "gang" and therefore a criminal. I think thats kind of prejudice and UNCONSCIOUS racism. Not racism that is OUTRIGHT but the kind that classifies black people in a inferior way morally or socially based on an appearance that doesnot suit the observers taste in fashion, hair style, language expression etc. I think the video is telling us we need to reexamine our own attitudes. Mayb we are actually the wrong ones.

@lynch5552933 sorry for the late approval but thanks for commenting. Ultimately the administrators found the officer out of line and her was fired. i personally dont like the whole sagging pants style but alot of black youth in the inner city choose to dress this way. Some of these kids are actually good kids and i dont think they should be classed as thugs because they dont conform to eurocentric mainstream styles of dress. I think police could use thier time better.
