Zo is dat, in 1969 ontdekte ik haar, je kon door heerlijk door je dak gaan, althans in die tijd, in die tijd had je ook Crazy Otto, ook een soort honky tonk, nooit meer teruggevonden.

@penn4644 As far as I know these edited, shortened versions of popular records were produced in order to comply with some kind of regulation which said that a record should not last longer than a specified time (in some countries). They did the same thing with the other side - Black and White Rag.

This is absolutely amazing! I have a 10" 33 rpm album titled "Winifred Atwell Selection" on Decca (LF1075). Crosshands Boogie is on it, however this piece has three extra sections not on my record. It's so wonderful to hear the "long version" after so many years! I love Ammons, Johnson and Lewis and Winnie is right up there with them! Thanks so much for sharing this.

Just a note. This is not the original of this song. this was originally played by someone called mede lux luis i think thats how you spell his name and does all the cross hands himself

Meade Lux Lewis was a superb piano player. Arguably, his most famous recording was Honky Tonk Train Blues. Search YouTube and you'll find a bunch of those videos. That'll knock your hat in the creek!
