This is an economics lesson designed for business English as a second language (ESL) students. I am a free teacher of all things English. I wish you the best of luck in your speaking practice. You could spend money on a tutor but if you are already advanced, why not just watch online free lessons... I like to talk about economics and business words because it's fun stuff.
IT DOES NOT include stocks, bonds, mutual funds, hedge funds...gold, silver....

Good video. They measure the amount of notes & coin by checking the records of how much has been created by the Mint. In countries with private money issuance, like Scotland and Ulster, they can check with the licensed banks to see how many notes & coin they've issued.

Thank you phil!
That was very helpful!
I find all this theory so much convoluted nonsense, after an 18-year stewardship of US monetary policy that caused an international economic disaster leading to MILLIONS of families destroyed & loosing their homes, cities, states and countries in ruin, now we hear Alan Greenspan say "I was wrong", I don't think so, that's letting him off far to easy!
THIS is not just a mistake, it is a crime, it's the greatest scam in the history of man!
