Saturday Free School for the Arts: Rock Videos as Art with Bill Arning

Bill Arning, Director of the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston discusses How to Look at Rock Videos as Art at the museum on August 15, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. CST. The lecture took place as part of Saturday Free School for the Arts, a program organized by SKYDIVE, an artist-run space in Houston, TX. SFSA follows the model of community schools established by radical and revolutionary groups, such as late 19th and early 20th century anarchists in Spain whose Modern Free Schools spread political and practical knowledge to a broad spectrum of society. SFSA offers workshops, lectures, and skill-sharing classes at no cost to its participants, and usually last 1-2 hours.
