I agree absolutely. Fred had a purity about him that is so refreshing. Almost childlike. He definately got a good seat in heaven I'd say.

One of the greatest television shows ever produced - simple and honest. Unfortunately, most of the episodes are unavailable now. I don't think that he would be happy about that.

i personally believe FR, while overlooked most often, is probably one of the greatest americans of all time. many many children over the years looked at him for comfort. Many abused children with no where to look found him a godsend and a refuge and a source of strength in there young lives.. as well as many adults as the documentry tells about
