  • "Not Guilty" was, with respect, his worst release ever.

  • Disagree....matured with age. Dread got better as a performer and as a writer as he got older.

  • there was talk of a judge dread biography in the eighties do you know if it ever surfaced? is that ted lemon in the photos of the inner sleeve to the 40 big ones lp ?

  • Yes, Dread did mention a book (biography) but sadly, this was not progressed which would have been easy and profitable for him as I am a publisher. Yes, Ted Lemon is on the inner sleev of the 40 Big Ones LP.

  • Well, I can't tell about his earlier perfomance skills as I only saw him 1992 on stage for the first time but it was excellent indeed. His later recordings are good, I just like the 70s and early 80s works better. What I can't bear is this record and he wasn't older then, just had a creative down I guess. As a Ska lover I can't listen to the crapy sounds (only talking about Not Guilty).
