The same 3 units I got at 8th Avenue are back and have a much larger load! This freight train was leaving Goulding, and heading off to the former Solutia Plant. This crossing features 2 gated sigals with 5 pairs of Safetran 12X24 incandescant lights and one WCH M Bell. I was planning to recapture Chemstrand Rd #2 (The video that has the cantilever and the short gates, as well as many burnt out lights), but the crossing area is under construction, and the road was closed off. My bet is that old WCH Cantilever is going Bye Bye, and a newer Cantilever is taking its place. I'll have more updates to Chemstrand Rd #2 when it comes available!

  • an sd40-3 interesting

  • @masonclan sorry my friend, but what we have here is a B40-8 and 2 GP40-2's on this train. No six axles here.

  • WOW! Was that a caboose on the end of that train? NICE!

  • Yep it sure was.

  • Nice video! That RS3L on 5974 sounds a bit fouled.

  • yeah not all the trumpets on that RS3L were working. You could barely hear one of the other 2 trumpets, but thats about it. I think that horn will likely be removed soon and replaced with likely a K5LA or a K5LAR24

  • @Crossingman18 oh my bad

  • Is there a bell

  • great video nice job on that caboose

yah that rs3l is real bad hopefully they fix it and dont put and k5lar24 on the system too many of those

but remember that m5 on that switcher got replaced

thoes gates still look as crappy as they did the time you and i went wounder when theyll fix that

  • Nice video, the B40 was a rare sight as was the caboose. Good catch.

  • That train was a lot longer in the second video. I bet it was going to drop off the hoppers and tankcars at the former solutia sidetrack and take the rest to International paper. That is what a lot of trains have been doing lately.

  • That might be for the best then. I mean, it still sounds okay right now, but I'd rather have a nice sounding K5LA or K5LAR24.
