Freeez was a UK dance music group from London, initially known for its emergence as one of the UK's leading jazz-funk bands of the early 1980s. Founded by John Rocca, Freeez consisted of various musicians, originally with Rocca and other members such as Andy Stennet (keyboards, Peter Maas (bass) and Paul Morgan or Everton Mcalla (drums).

I was 6 years old when I first heard this track in 1983. I thought that it was a black woman with a soprano voice, but when I saw this video, I was STUNNED when I found out that it was two geeky white guys singing this track. WTF???? Gotta love the 80s. I used to call this the vowel song.

Correct..hiphop was exploding and the uk was right there...rear year of the
hiphop culture because ppl could not fake it with their dance like in the "
rap" age of hiphop..if you were alive you witness some of the world

I know. I was there back then. I maybe was a child but at least I was around in the 80s. I remember watching people breakdance to this track along with The Smurf.

Why are you getting offended? I was just telling the truth. When I was 6, I thought it was a black woman singing it. That's not being racist. I remember the ghetto blasters in the 80s. That's when it was safe for them to carry it outside without being robbed.
