Ancient America Speaks

Who was the "Great White God" who promised to return to the ancient American people?? It is my belief that it is the same Jesus Christ who already visited them at least once before. Even the same Jesus Christ who was crucified, buried and arose on the 3rd day in Jerusalem. He had "Other sheep" which were not of the fold in Jerusalem and to them, he promised to bring his gospel. Others who were members of the house of Israel existed anciently in Meso-America as the Nephites and the Lamanites. All, at one time, awaited his birth and coming and endured signs for both events. Jesus Christ visited the Americas centuries before Columbus and Cortez.

We know that the Mayan's revered "Cortez" to be the potential return of this deity. There could be similarities between that day and the days which shall surely come when the "Son of Man" returns to the earth and destroys the wicked for he did tell this people that he would return.
Jesus Christ quoted the words of Malachi to the ancient Nephites.
3 Nephi 24:1-2, Jesus Said, "And it came to pass that he commanded them that they should write the words which the Father had given unto Malachi, which he should tell unto them. And it came to pass that after they were written he expounded them. And these are the words which he did tell unto them, saying: Thus said the Father unto Malachi—Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me, and the Lord whom ye seek shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in; behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of Hosts.
2 But who may abide the day of his coming, and who shall stand when he appeareth? For he is like a refiners fire, and like fullers soap.
This people looked forward to and a hope for the second coming of this "Great White God" just as the Book of Mormon records that Jesus will return just shy of that Millennium of peace, also hinted to in ancient Mayan beliefs... a "time of peace."

Those people were among the Mayans between 500 B.C. to about 300 A.D. and according to the Book of Mormon, "All were converted unto the Lord." 4 Ne. 1: 1-3


What did the Mayan people say this deity looked like? Sounds much like what is recorded in Revelations...
Revelations 1:13-16 -
"And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength."

3 Nephi 27:14-18
14 And my Father sent me that I might be lifted up upon the cross; and after that I had been lifted up upon the cross, that I might draw all men unto me, that as I have been lifted up by men even so should men be lifted up by the Father, to stand before me, to be judged of their works, whether they be good or whether they be evil—
15 And for this cause have I been lifted up; therefore, according to the power of the Father I will draw all men unto me, that they may be judged according to their works.
16 And it shall come to pass, that whoso repenteth and is baptized in my name shall be filled; and if he endureth to the end, behold, him will I hold guiltless before my Father at that day when I shall stand to judge the world.
17 And he that endureth not unto the end, the same is he that is also hewn down and cast into the fire, from whence they can no more return, because of the justice of the Father.
18 And this is the word which he hath given unto the children of men. And for this cause he fulfilleth the words which he hath given, and he lieth not, but fulfilleth all his words.

I love this and all the connections to Christ visiting the America' s. Some of my favorite are: had a healing touch, and could raise the dead. People brought their sick to him for healing. [3 Nephi 17:7-9] - He was sometimes known as Kab-ul, which means “the miraculous hand”. [The prophecies of Isaiah frequently refer to Messiah as ‘the Hand’.] - He was also known as “the God of the seventh day”. [Matthew 12:8] - and the list goes on and on!

@cutemedli7 - do you doubt that there have been MANY evidences to support middle easterners have traveled to this part of the world? It's already a well known fact. Discoveries in places such as "Black Rock" in Colorado... many official documents in early American History have also identified many of the native american peoples as having not only an influence of middle-eastern cultures but went as far as to identify them as the lost tribes of Israel or as being members of it. Open your mind!!!
