@LegoDaleks I am in no way a "Nuvian"... My first Doctor was Tom Baker and in many ways, I prefer the old series to the revived series.

This reminded me so strongly of the scene in School Reunion when Sarah Jane and Rose are talking and Sarah Jane asks if the Doctor still strokes bits of the TARDIS, to which Rose responds "Yes! I'm like, do you two want to be alone?" HA! The Doctor's true love finally revealed as a character!

And I cried a bit when Moony told Harry of Lily. (So little, but it was something...). But it is as if James had never existed! In both the books and the movies, no one talks about James with Harry. He's barely mentionned and Lily is kind of... God-like? Yeah, she sacrified herself to save Harry, but James, didn't he die trying to hold Voldy back, too?

@AnaFilipexD Yeah, like my brother. He's fifteen years older than Lils and me (34, then) and he doesn't like to read. We told him that he wouldn't understand many things without reading the books first.... But he insisted on watching the movies. So every single sentence or else, we had to explain something to him. Like the Marauder's backstory in film 3.

@melodysymphonystar Yep, they should have replaced those minutes with Voldy and Harry falling with the wand scene. And someone who hasn't read the books won't understand a thing about the Deathly Hallows.

@AnaFilipexD Yeah, stupid Harry, why did you break the Elder Wand? Now you're wandless. I mean, the wand is the extension of the wizard's magic, right? Like Sweeney Todd and his razor (lol), one can't be complete without the other, so why the heck didn't they add the scene? It would be what, 3 seconds, a "reparo", a zoom on the phoenix core wand reparing itself and it's done!
