This incredible globe rotates just like the earth without any help from batteries, adapters, or cords. The MOVA globe uses solar cells that create energy to power a low friction electric motor.
The globe's casing & base are made out of a clear acrylic, which give it a really neat floating effect.

@luisdanielmesa see: google turtletechdesign -- they invented it and own the mova brand. i meant to say a solar-powered panel inside that powers a motor.

I got this info from James Randi, and that's what this company told HIM after GIFTING him one of the globes... So, they either lied to you, or as i assume from my first sentence, you explained it the wrong way.
