I love how someone in the crowd was like, "Now this is what I've been waiting for!" I just can't fathom someone taking pleasure in some poor other guy's nice machine getting ruined... But this is why I would never run nitrous, LOL.

How come a 97' Dakota is a pile of garbage? I see nothing wrong with it, and yet you probably think a 2010 Mustang is better. Get this through your thick skull, newer DOES NOT always mean better.

If you pay attention to what you are watching, the driver got and and turned back. The guy running was from the track crew...I image he was going to get an extenguisher. BTW - I bet you would run from a truck on fire with a full bottle of nitrous and a tank of race fuel. DA!

was a truck a total loss the fire was just in the engine bay right.

Engine was blown and everything else in the bay was melted...sold the remains for next to nothing.

Looks like the tires unloaded and causes it to over rev on the nitrous which caused the engine to blow. The bad part was that the butterfly on the carberator hung wide open which held the micro switch to the nitrous wide open. It was a nitrous and fuel fed fire, that why it went up so fast.
