When you think of the North Shore many think of Black gangs, Mexican gangs, slang, drive by's, Wu Tang, the Projects..Many people have this notion SS is Italians and North Shore or Blacks..The North Shore also has a large Irish population..What makes the North Shore during those days great was that Blacks could come into any Forest Ave bar have a few beers with the Irishman and there was love..North Shore had an awsome melting pot..italians say Irish are drunks.Maybe but they are tough as nails

I was born and raised on the North Shore of Staten Island where people were born on planet Earth where people from the South Shore were born on planet cesspool .I hung out with Italians, Blacks, Spanish, and Irish..I am white and I am Italian and the one thing I was never down with was how SS Italians used slurs against Blacks..Even Blacks in the toughest neighborhoods were gentleman unlike these S Shore Italians..They still pollute the Island and by the way you guys were never tough..Never
