We are 3 graduate students that proudly present their graduation project.
For this project we wanted to create a great looking environment. We were heavily inspired by Fallout3 and Gears of War and since we don't see a lot of dutch scenery in games,
we wanted to create an environment that would be somewhere in the Netherlands.
We worked 3 months non stop on this project and used UnrealED3.0 that comes with UT3.

Our goal with this project was to re-create a recognizable environment in the Netherlands and completely redesign it by putting it in an alternate timeline and have it a bit of a vintage look.
In our version World War 2 never happenend and the Art Deco had a huge impact on the architecture. Also, something has happened and the area looks devastated and deserted, a ghost town.
What the hell happened..?

Everything you see is made by us with the exception of a few particles.

No it was the "Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht (HKU)". The course is called "Game Design & Development" but I believe they now have a seperate "Game Art" course as well.

However, I did study at the GLR before I went to the HKU.
