Got this camera and got to say its awesome! You wont get this camera taken off you unlike the larger bridge or SLR cameras at venues and still have a gr8 16x optical zoom! Plus u can zoom in out optical&digital while filming with no sound cut out. LOTS of other cameras u cant do this. That sound suppression is there for stopping the bass hitting ur mic like a truck! Trust me that ruined videos on my old cameras! Just add a bit of volume on ur video edit software :)

I have to agree... Very disappointed especially since I wanted these for concerts.
