You ultramarathoners should look into professional dog running. I run 100 miles a week and get paid to do it. This is quite an interesting technique. Maybe I'll try it out.
Well, I tried Arrowhead 2 years ago and failed. Now i'm training for Arrowhead again. This last 2 years i get more confidence, finishing Brazil135, Sahara Race and several other ultra races (100km, 100miles, 24hours, etc). So i'm gonna get try again. It was you at Trans333? I am really interested in try that one too.
This is fantastic.

Wow! I've always wanted to try that! But I'm a little too self conscious. Best of luck for your races!

I'm hoping to get into enough shape to run the Arrowhead this winter. Training with a tire seems a good idea!

have you tried a weighted vest instead of a tire? both are a form of resistance training but that tire seems like it can be a bit annoying.

I went at Badwater, carrying on of 3 brazilian runners outthere. One of them became a champion
and broke the record of the race (22h51min59sec).

hi Tim,
nice to hear news from you.
Well my friend, this year has been pretty interesting.
After Arrowhead, i ran 100 miles between 2 cities
(a small local challenge, me and 3 other) but as i
got a bit fat, i ran in 29h30min, and passed out
(dismay) at the end.
