Take Magnesium! I suffered from Night Eating Disorder for 15 years straight. I tried many remedies and the doc eventually put me on anti-depressants -- none of them worked. But as soon as I began supplementing with Magnesium, the wakings and binge eating disappeared IMMEDIATELY. I've eaten tubes of toothpaste, cold raw chicken, my brother sleeps late so he's witnessed me pretty much pushing him out of way to go to the kitchen without noticing anything...

I do great on my diet during the day and yet Im powerless at night since I only have a vauge recollection of what transpired over the late hours. Since my mind is on auto pilot I tend to get cookies and milk, which is not only bad for my diet but I go right back to sleep right afterwards which is terrible for digestion.
Well at least I know what I am dealing with now. Still why couldnt I have something like "Sleep cleaning"? lol

i smoke and eat too. there are ciggie burns everywhere. snickers wrappers and mars bars galore. i hate this disease

sleep eating is most likley caused by high fructose spike think about it high frutose makes you feel like your still hungry thus adding the effect of sleep walking
