Youth Day is the annual event for high school youth of the Archdiocese of Vancouver, presented by the Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry. It will be held on May 6 and 7 at Archbishop Carney Regional Secondary School in Port Coquitlam.
The theme for this year's event is Rooted (Planted and Built up in Jesus Christ, firm in the faith).
Youth Day will feature Mark Hart as the Keynote Speaker (he keynoted Youth Day in 2005) and Joia Farmer as the musical guest (she was the musical guest at Spirit Day 2005).
The song featured in the video is "Rooted in God"...a take on Justin Bieber's "Somebody to Love."
Featured in the video is Oggy Luistro playing the part of doubting teen, reassuring youth ministry leader, and cool dancer. Special appearances by the OYYAM staff members (Analyn, Clay, Faye and Gerard) who resurrect their youth ministry flash mob moves made famous in New Orleans.
