T'at is because t'ey 'ave no 'istory, except t'e 'abit of omitting t'e letter " ' " like t'e Frenc', because t'ey fort (I'm with them on that one, we spell it fug't) toget'er against the King in t'e Revolutionary War, so now we play bad guys in their movies. We exact our filmographic revenge thru making them play the idiots in our films, and by calling a film a film, not some super simple name like "moving picture.. er.. motion picture! because it moves, moves, it's really movish, movee, movie!"

Some Americans do. Some Americans don't. It's considered an American thing because British people never do it.

Are you even American? We have many different dialects.... but most people don't think about how large a population and how spread out we are.
