We got bored and decided to toss around a custom painted motorcycle gas tank worth $1000, while the customer was on his way to pick it up. His name is "Wolf Man". Boredom is dangerous.

  • @MagnumRockwilder ya i was gonna use there shit but then bought this other kind.been fuckin welding the thing for days man ha always another little tiny pin hole pop up.i think i got it sealed now but wanna make sure ya know

  • @bradniger I've used a kit called "Kreem". If you have a couple tiny pinholes, it works, and it's great to use inside any tank as a preventative. You etch the tank with acid, then neutralize the acid, then seal it with an epoxy goo. It leaves a rock hard coating inside the tank. On larger holes, I've welded them, but it's time consuming.

  • @MagnumRockwilder florida is filled with young money from what i hear haha and guess people are doin it out there to pay that, thats crazy.i actually came up on your video by looking for a how to seal your tank videos.did you guys ever seal tanks there...ya know the inside in case had pin hole leaks...

  • I'm in Tampa Bay, FL. You can get a $1500 paint job here, but it won't be worth a shit. I learned the basics from reading books at the book store. My favorite was "Advanced Custom Painting Techniques". Then, I learned the rest by DOING IT. My advice is to find a small shop that does a lot of 1-panel wholesale jobs, and have them apprentice you.

  • @MagnumRockwilder no shit 6000!!!where the fuck do you live brotha...i would of punched a motha fucker in the face for that quote.ya i def wanna learn paint too.i buld custom choppers and am always doing shit what cars too and that saves so much money man.its all in the prep isn t it...i worked for a shop that does like 30 grand paint jobs for a few days then quit cause it sucked man haha.any video s or videos you ve seen anywhere you de recommend for me to check out to learn....

  • That's the reason I got into paint & body! I couldn't afford a paint job! lol I wanted a small car with minor dings color-changed and wet-sanded/buffed. My cheapest quote was $6000. So I read a few books on paint & body, and painted all my stuff myself, then all my friends and neighbors' stuff. Lots of referrals. After 6 months of painting in my carport, I opened a shop. I was open for 3 years, and did GREAT, but the stress got to me. Now I'm a karaoke DJ. lol I do jobs on the side, though.

  • @MagnumRockwilder you gotta be shittin me the dummy put that there on purpose hahaha.and fuck you boys are killin people on those paint jobs i can get my whole car painted custom for a 1000 bucks.get that money tho man.

  • Heh... that's a hand-hammered & ground-smooth recess for clearance of the handlebar mount. The frame neck was ridiculously raked, so the bike builder/owner engineered the "custom dent" to make things fit better. It was perfectly symmetrical, kind of an apple shaped "dent", hidden by the handlebar mount when installed. That paint job was PERFECT. 100%

  • if thats a 1000 dollar job i feel sorry for that dude with that big ass dent in the front of it

  • That's a riot. LOL!!! I was cringing when it was in the air.
