Here's a version of Tapioca Tundra that we did. It's a little on the slow side and we screwed up the middle part, but who's keeping track? :)

  • That is really excellent! How such young men could find such an obscure song is amazing, and you play it so well. Thank you for a warm feeling and a big smile!

  • "Tapioca Tundra" is one of my Top 25 Monkees songs, as are nearly all of Mike Nesmith's works from that period. Meanwhile, *you* guys are fantastic, for you both seem to relish Nesmith's Monkees stuff more than the man these days does himself. (I'm waiting to hear anything differently, Michael.)

  • Not quite as good as by the Monkees but very, very nicely done and respectable!

    Kind regards, Andreas Sander (ferdinand)

  • Great job guys!!! This is an awesome song. :-) I'm a big Monkees fan. You did Mike Nesmith proud. :-)

  • Old or not, this is still a great tune. I grew up in a house that my one sister and 4 brothers played the 45 record constantly, with the cool yellow plaster "adapter" in the middle of the record, to fit bigger record players! You guys had fun with this, but you got the feel soooo right! cool job!

  • Great job. Love this tune.

  • I just started playing this myself about two weeks ago on a twelve string but I've learned a lot watching you. You guys are awesome and I hope to see more. It was fun to watch you having fun as well. :)

  • WOW, really nicely done boys, i didnt realize anyone even cared about this one these days. you must've been monkees tv show fans :) NICE

  • Great job guys. Especially 2:09 to 2:26. It really is a little gem of a song.

  • @graphophone This song made it to #1 in Detroit, so it is considered one of

their bigger hits there...or at the time. Now, who remembers, sadly?

  • Wonderful

  • I Like This Song !!
