Although u start the fedora first then ubuntu....from what i see with my naked eye in the video....i presume the fedora was faster about 2-3 seconds than the jaunty....

try do a video that when u start the jaunty first then we could see how this fedora perform...

This is a small test I did, nothing else. You can see really good Fedora 11 starts completely before Jaunty.

@JesusManson323 theirs no true reasons honestly... unless you wanna include qemu stock installed on fedora I believe... even so... linux is linux... theirs no... true advantage from one to the other.. terminal is terminal... a kernel is a kernel... as much as a person might wanna fight about it....

@mandoza3 no, we hate windows. Windows is the reason we switched to Linux because Windows was slow, wasted time and didn't connect to the internet properly

@JesusManson323 The only difference I know of in the case of which to use is the theme, background, and how it makes you feel really comfortable. I had some flash player problems with Ubuntu 10.04 but that's no big deal.

Someone tell me some solid reasons to use Fedora over Ubuntu. I'll switch if there are good reasons.

@MaHaRaJAseMesTA but fedora started first and in a real world tesst they a re about the same but yes fedora is about  .8 seconds faster but ubuntu is more reliable

i run servers. they run for days on end, and all you fuckin n00bs are worried about how fast it comes back up? like, for christ sakes, even if it does go down, someones going to find out, and just reboot anyway.

i hate this entire video and the idea of a fast boot time. it just simply doesnt affect me
