I was the guy responsible for stopping the gig! JJ noticed that the bouncers were throwing me out the stage door, and he decided to stop them. And he makes comment about the mawashi geri that I did on stage, and yes it was a good kick that caused me bursting the baggiest pair of trousers I had at the time! And what a great gig that was!

hehe deary me, I was there, it was at the old glasgow apollo 84, a fine dangerous old venue which shook all over the place, the stranglers were about the last big name that played there as it was demolished shortly after. It was a rough gig tbh, something horrible had happened to the keyboard array which no-one could fix combined with the shock of a brass section, it being glasgow there was a fair bit of pushing and shoving. It was good to see them despite it all though.

This recording is from when my Dad first saw them not long before it shut but he didn't nick any seats (as far as i know!)
