Using sound to draw pictures

My first attempt at using Camtasia to record the screen and a voice over so it comes out a little rough but gets it all across.
This is a 'Spectrum Analyser'- a spectrometer generates sprectrograms of electro-magnetic energy (light) my mistake.
What it does is transform a sound into the components of its frequency spectrum and displays it.
Using a beep-map synthesiser you can manipulate sound into creating pictures by using specific concentrated frequencies.

Well... for example, you can copypaste the picture to some image editing software, modify it and try it out with BeepMap. Then you'll get you own tune.
